Description
Narrative:
Firefighters everywhere come to the aid of animals.
But it takes a “real animal” to tackle a fire fighting job in sub-zero temperatures. Fire and ice, smoke and fog, hellish heat and hellish cold…all can happen at once in a violent meltdown.
Local 1324 is the Fairbanks, Alaska Firefighters Union Hall. They are the proud owners and restorers of the 1969 Mack pumper truck pictured here. The setting is loosely based on an old part of Fairbanks near the Clay Street Cemetery.
This scene could easily come to life anywhere in the world that bears, beavers, firefighters, and other local animals get “real” together to help their neighbors.
